Description
- Title of project: Driving Efficiency Through Process Automation
- Type of system: Customer and field operations digitalisation using Upya’s no-code workflow automation platform
- Location of project: Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire
- Completion date: Ongoing since 2023
Company description
- Lumos: A leading solar energy provider delivering affordable and reliable off-grid power solutions to households and businesses in West Africa.
- Upya: A workflow automation and customer management platform designed for organisations in the Global South, enabling businesses to digitise field operations, automate processes, and scale efficiently.
The Challenge
As Lumos scaled its operations across Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire, its existing IT systems became too rigid and costly to adapt to changing business models. Customer onboarding, inventory management, and after-sales support were fragmented, slowing growth and increasing costs.
Renewable Solution
Lumos partnered with Upya to digitise its operations using a no-code workflow automation platform. This solution was chosen because it is scalable, adaptable, and tailored for organisations operating in emerging markets.
