H. E. Manfredo Fanti, EU Ambassador to Tanzania and the East African Community (EAC) said: “As announced last year during the Renewable Energy Day held in Dodoma on 13 December 2021, we are happy to host a continental renewable energy forum in Tanzania, where EU-supported platforms like GET.invest and ARE will reunite key actors of the renewable energy space with the aim of catalysing investments and opportunities for energy projects in Africa. After the first two days touching on issues of general interest and involving countries of West and Eastern Africa, we are happy to announce that the third day will be fully focused on Tanzania. This event is in line with the recently adopted EU green deal which focuses on the clean energy transition and in line with our ongoing support to Tanzania to improve energy efficiency and better service delivery to citizens. EU supports a more sustainable economic development which includes the creation of green jobs, also for women.”

“At Schneider Electric, our objective to ensure green, reliable and affordable energy for all is one we are fully committed to,“ said Carol Koech, Country President of Schneider Electric East Africa, “We are part of the solution and with only 10 of the 54 countries enjoying over 70% energy access, the challenge to improve the lives of the 1.8 B people without access to reliable energy is one we are fully committed to solving. A pledge further cemented by the launch of the solar-hybrid solution, Homaya Pro revolutionary inverters that specifically designed for locations having unreliable or no access to electricity, supports both Grid & Solar priority modes, with unlimited expandability for backup time and remote monitoring that we are showcasing at EAIF.”

Yann Chauvelin, Business Development Director of Sagemcom Energy & Telecom said: “We are delighted to be a partner of EAIF,  a major event in the sector of electricity access and renewable energy. As a "mission driven company" operating across Africa for decades, our goal is to help public and private utilities achieve universal access to reliable, clean and competitive energy.”

Steven Fleurus, CFO of ENGIE Energy Access said: “We look forward to being part of EAIF in Dar Es Salaam.  It is an opportunity to connect with key stakeholders and partners and share our vision on how to provide decentralised energy to people not connected to the grid. It is only by joining our forces that we will be able to accelerate access-to-energy and come to a sustainable business model to roll-out in the coming years.”
