Job description

We are looking for an energetic, passionate and customer-facing person to join our UK operation. Your brief will be to grow and develop our business activities in the Hybrid Microgrid segment. You will be working closely with our customers, building long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs. You will also be working with our colleagues from other subsidiaries around the world.

About the role

  • Finding new potential customers and business opportunities in the Hybrid microgrid and Renewable Energy markets
  • Developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of microgrid opportunities
  • Establishing an initial feasibility assessment of microgrid opportunities, and working with Engineering, Project Management and Business Development departments to refine and quote the scope of the project
  • Supporting commercial needs of existing ComAp client
  • Compiling offers and quotations for existing or potential ComAp customers
  • Establishing, developing and maintaining good professional long-term relationships and communication with existing and potential ComAp customers and partners
  • Regularly preparing and updating budget plan, sales forecast and performance report
  • Planning and arrangement of exhibitions when required
  • Conducting and reporting on market research to understand competitors and market trends
  • Developing familiarity with CRM system

About you

  • Strong, demonstrable knowledge of basic theory and operation of microgrids and microgrid components, including inverters, energy storage devices, PV systems, wind power, and G99 / G100 requirements
  • Experience in the hybrid microgrid, energy storage, or renewable energy markets
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other related program or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience in B2B sales
  • Experience in the electrical power generation, parallel operation of AC sources, switchgear, and/or electrical controls markets preferred
  • Ability to comprehend 1-line and 3-line electrical schematics related to this industry
  • Confidence in building strong relationships with our costumers
  • Strategic thinking, proactivity and ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts
  • Be prepared to travel, visiting our customers domestically and travelling overseas to our HQ or other subsidiaries
