Restructuring Manager



Job description

As Restructuring Officer (‘RO’) you are part of the Credit Risk and Restructuring Unit (CRRM) reporting to the Head of Risk and Control (RC). You are responsible for loan restructuring activities on behalf of Triple Jump. You are part of the restructuring negotiations with other lenders and provide provisioning advise to the corresponding Committees.

About the role

  • You participate in complex debt restructuring negotiations with other lenders;
  • You are informed about macro-economic conditions and regulatory developments that may impact the course of restructuring negotiations or the recoverability of distressed assets;
  • You are able to prepare stress test scenarios of distressed loans in order to propose specific course of actions in terms of restructuring, provisions or write off’s to the investment committees;
  • You coordinate with various departments within Triple Jump, including legal and Fund Administration to ensure the timely completion and approval of (restructuring) agreements;
  • You update Problem Loan & Watchlist reports, and actively participate in or present at the corresponding committees;
  • You coordinate with other CRRM members to discuss and update on your restructuring negotiations.

About you

  • Ability to represent Triple Jump and its funds under management in lenders meetings, investor meetings and other public events.
  • A minimum of five years of experience as Risk manager, Investment Officer, Portfolio Manager or similar position.
  • Previous experience in debt restructuring is a plus
  • University degree in Economics, Finance or related field.
  • A high knowledge of the English language; knowledge of an additional languages like Spanish or French language is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, quantitative analysis and communication skills.
