HydroSight: Managing Renewable Power, the Smart Way

The transition to renewable energy has accelerated the deployment of diverse technologies (hydropower stations, solar parks, wind farms…) often designed and delivered by different manufacturers. While each site may operate efficiently on its own, the challenge begins when there is a need to oversee several plants at once. Monitoring systems tend to be specific to each supplier/installer, and moving from one interface to another quickly becomes time-consuming and cumbersome.

This is the gap that HydroSight seeks to bridge.

HydroSight is a centralised monitoring platform designed to unify data from multiple renewable energy installations into a single, coherent view. Whether managing a hydro facility in one region, a solar plant in another, or a cluster of wind turbines further afield, users can follow performance in real time through one secure interface.

A practical tool for multiple audiences

One of HydroSight’s key strengths lies in its adaptability. Plant operators benefit from detailed dashboards that provide immediate insights into energy production, alarms, and operational status. Investors and stakeholders, on the other hand, can access simplified reports that highlight performance trends without exposing them to sensitive controls such as start-up or shut-down functions.

Functionality designed for efficiency

The platform is accessible both via web and mobile app, ensuring flexibility for users in the field or at a distance. Its dashboards are visual and intuitive, drawing on clear graphs and customizable layouts. Beyond visualization, HydroSight supports day-to-day management with features such as:

  • Standardized operational reports across different plants.
  • Centralized alarms and notifications for easier oversight.
  • Simple export of operational data for further analysis.

Compatibility and integration

To achieve this, HydroSight relies on a data acquisition module installed directly on-site. This component collects operational data and feeds it into the HydroSight database, from which the platform generates its dashboards. Crucially, the system is designed to integrate with most existing control systems.

Towards streamlined renewable operations

As renewable energy portfolios expand, the need for unified monitoring solutions becomes more pressing. HydroSight responds to this need by offering not just another monitoring tool, but a platform that simplifies oversight, strengthens transparency, and adapts to a variety of stakeholders.

In a sector where efficiency and clarity are vital, HydroSight offers a way to see the bigger picture—without losing sight of the details.

Simplifying oversight of renewable energy operations is our mission.
