Rutten NES

Rutten New Energy System is a Belgian company based in Herstal, in the Walloon Region. It was founded in 2013 by engineers Léon and Jean Rutten, managing directors of Rutten Electromécanique, whose expertise in turbines is recognised worldwide. For more than 35 years, Rutten Electromécanique has based its development on innovation and the search for simple solutions, particularly in the renewable energy sector, in Belgium and around the world. The company holds 35 patents and has commercialised many ground-breaking products and solutions.

Rutten New Energy System is currently developing a totally innovative, ecological and sustainable energy storage system called DaNi for ‘Day and Night’ electricity, as well as an ingenious cogeneration system without the need of a steam turbine.
