ARE leaves lasting impression at PROMOTE 2024 & Cameroon-EU Business Week
The Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE) made a substantial impact at the PROMOTE 2024 trade fair and Cameroon-EU Business Week in Yaoundé from February 20-23, 2024. Ines van Oldeneel, Business & Market Development Officer from ARE, took part in a panel in Cameroon – EU Business Week to talk about the upcoming publication on the Electrification of health centres in sub-Saharan Africa. She also addressed the audience in PROMOTE 2024, presenting the outcomes of the awareness campaign on productive uses of renewable energy conducted with ADEME.
ARE also engaged with Cameroon’s Minister of Energy, participating in discussions led by the Renewable Energy Association of Cameroon (ACER). This marked a crucial step in advancing sustainable energy access in the country.
