Area Sales Representative



Job description

Area Sales Representative is responsible for reaching the targets and goals set for respective areas. Main aspect of his work is to increase market share and win new business.

Relocation is not required for this position, ideal candidate will live in Brazil. Travel is required up to 50% of the time.

About the job

  • Increase market share and secure new business opportunities.
  • Establish, maintain, and expand our customer base.
  • Maintain relationships with current customers and address their needs.
  • Increase business opportunities through various market routes.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Create promotional strategies to attract additional customers.
  • Offer innovative ideas and suggestions to enhance market presence.
  • Conduct market research in collaboration with the Marketing team.
  • Stay informed about products and competitors.
  • Support customers and distributors with basic commercial training and technical assistance to help them reach their goals.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between distributors/customers and our headquarters.
  • Maintain and increase sales of our company’s products.
  • Monitor distributor and customer performance and motivate them to achieve targets.
  • Compile and analyse sales data.
  • Gather customer feedback.
  • Report regularly in the CRM (visit reports, appointments, opportunities/leads, etc.).
  • Prepare quotations for customers.
  • Identify technical and commercial decision-makers within organizations.
  • Keep updated on product changes and new product roll-outs.
  • Travel within the region as necessary to fulfil these responsibilities.
  • Understand Brazil’s business environment.

  • Written and spoken Portuguese on a level high enough for perfect communication
  • Written and spoken English on a level high enough for good reporting and communication

Highly Regarded Qualifications:

  • A tertiary qualification in business and/or management
  • Practical technical knowledge of ComAp products
  • To have previous job experiences in the industry (Oil and Gas/Automation Machinery Manufacturing/IT Services and IT Consulting)
