The Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE) is more relevant than ever as underserved communities worldwide continue to face critical challenges, including a lack of energy access, climate crises, economic development needs, and mobility constraints. The work ARE does has never been more crucial.

2024 was a year of both challenges and remarkable progress. ARE seized opportunities to strengthen global collaborations and scale up DRE projects across diverse regions, including Africa, Asia, and Latin America & the Caribbean.
