Job Title: Logistics Officer/ Store Manager
Location: Central African Republic
Reports To: General Manager and Director
Contract Type: Full-Time
Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics officer/ Store manager to join our team in the Central African Republic. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in logistics management. Preference will be given to candidates with experience or familiarity in procuring electrical components, especially in the renewable energy or manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for approving and monitoring movement of products into and out of the store
- Supervises warehouse cleaning schedule
- Monitors and isolates nonconforming products
- Organizes the store and its storage practices
- Monitors the bin/stock cards
- Makes sure that the warehouse is up to date on all health, safety, and security aspects
- Assists with inventory and inventory reporting
- Monitors all access to the store and transactions of removing materials
- Is held accountable that all stock inventory is the correct quantity
- Monitors the loading and off-loading of all materials to the store and for projects
- Reports to procurement department regarding stock levels
- To ensure that the warehouse is kept clean and safe according to HSE guidelines
- To ensure that all fire safety equipment is available and in working order at warehouse
- To ensure that all HSE information is received with products during procurement process
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional logistics management experience in a similar role
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Desirable Attributes:
- Familiarity with renewable energy, manufacturing, or engineering industry supplies
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
