LEAP MICRO AD designs and fabricates micro AD technology as part of a wider closed-loop food-energy-waste model. Combining 120-years mechanical engineering, control, design and training expertise, LEAP aims to advance the circular economy, decentralise bio-resource management and strengthen local economies collaborating with UK, EU, Chinese, Malaysian and Nigerian partners to realise the vision.
Working under supervision as part of the workshop team, you'll be helping fabricate equipment that recovers nutrients, water and fibre as part of an innovative circular bio-economy model. We are looking for hard working people with practical workshop skills, keen to do something for environment to support the fabrication team. You will be involved in building infrastructure, assembling components and testing innovative mobile technology, which treats digestate - the liquid fertiliser recovered from organic waste. Arranged over 2x 40' trailers, it will be demonstrated across the UK/EU in 2022. Other work includes developing micro anaerobic digestion systems to support our decentralised circular bio-economy model designed to benefit communities, businesses at the environment.
Location: Our workshop is based in Chelworth near Kemble, Wiltshire.
Hours: Flexible - 5 days p/w or 2-3 days p/w part time 9am - 5pm.
Salary: £14 p/hr part-time, £29,120 pro-rata
