Job description

Role brief

MySolGrid is seeking a Transversal Mini-Grids Technical Operation Manager to travel and support countries where technical and operation manager are missing and to directly support the one where sites are all going under operations. The incumbent will report hierarchically to the Global operation Manager and to the head of mini grid in the country. He will be in charge of assuming the role of operation manager in countries where the position is still open and to start in new countries, support on elaboration the new procedure for the operation contract.

About you


  • Hold a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or in another related field
  • Be passionate about access to energy and improving the lives of rural communities
  • Be passionate about clean energies (preferably solar photovoltaics and batteries)
  • Have at least 5of relevant experience in electricity and / or energy efficiency, including at least 2 years in a team management position
  • Have advanced skills in quantitative analysis and master Excel and PowerBI
  • Be structured and have an eye for detail
  • Be able to work independently and demonstrate a great sense of initiative and sense of priorities
  • Have strong interpersonal skills to interface with all members of the operation team
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English
  • Hold a valid category B driving license
  • Commit to upholding high standards of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
  • Demonstrate humility, honesty and flexibility
