The Energy Access Work Stream of the Africa-EU Energy Partnership with the support of Practical Action, the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE) and the African-EU Renewable Energy Cooperation Programme (RECP), has the pleasure to invite you to: the Sustainable Energy Southern Africa Forum of the Africa-EU Energy Partnership from 31 January 2017 - 2 February 2017 in Lusaka, Zambia.

The event provides an opportunity to discuss progress on Zambia's SEforALL Action Agenda and Investment Prospectus, to identify specific opportunities for strengthening multi-stakeholder partnerships to achieve the three goals of SEforALL and to learn more about concrete markets and business opportunities for renewables in the Southern African region. Furthermore, a field visit to an off-grid project site will be offered.

  • Day 1 (31 January) - Market Information Day - Business Opportunities for Decentralised Renewables in Southern Africa 
  • Day 2 (1 February) - Multi-stakeholder Forum on Sustainable Energy in Zambia - Joining forces for Sustainable Energy
  • Day 3 (2 February) - Off-grid site visits for participants

The Forum attracted a total of more than 230 participants from the public and private sector, civil society as well as media and contributed to establishing multi-stakeholder partnerships, which help push towards the achievement of the three goals of SEforALL.
