The event aims at connecting international renewable energy project developers, investors, financiers, EPCs and manufacturers with local stakeholders, providing you with the resources you need to develop your solar business in Indonesia in only 5 days.
Following the announcement of developing 5GW PV capacity by 2025 and the first round of feed in tariffs, Indonesia attracted a big interest from stakeholders. With a population of around 250 million people and over 900 permanently inhabited islands Indonesia presents endless possibilities for solar PV development.
Both the trade mission and local conference feature multiple sessions discussing possibilities with decentralized PV systems, including an overview of the new regulation on rural electrification of more than 12,000 villages, as well as discussions on off-grid, storage, and micro-grid developments. The local conference also features a case study on Sumba Iconic Island, a 100% RE project on the island of Sumba, Indonesia.
