The Berkeley Rural Energy Research Group (BREG) and TU Berlin Microenergy Systems Research Group (MES) shall hold a symposium on Innovating Energy Access for Remote Areas: Discovering untapped resources.
The symposium will be organised in coordination with the Environmental Research Letters (ERL), which will publish selected papers from the symposium in a special edition.
Suitable papers may be also considered for peer-review in the following journals:
Given that a minimum of 20 papers of sufficient scientific quality are submitted, the publication of a book as part the Climate Change Series with Springer is under discussion.
The organisers have received a high number of papers on particularly innovative topics within the current global energy access discourse and papers exploring the potential and limits of decentralised energy supply and climate change mitigation actitivities in the Global South.
