Decentralised renewable energy (DRE) based technologies can improve electricity access to remote and dispersed communities. However, the long-term sustainability of DRE projects depends largely on the technology used, as electrification in remote areas is often constrained by technical barriers. Energy systems are composed of multiple components act in concertion and in relation to each other to ensure quality, reliability and availability of electric power. Integrating premium power components as part of a system design, therefore, becomes a necessity for DRE project developers. 

The 90-minute webinar on Premium Power Components will feature presentations on power components, related applications and experiences from projects from ARE Members.
