The European Development Days is a key Forum for leaders and stakeholders to openly address global challenges and develop innovative solutions. This year’s edition represents the flagship event of the European Year for Development, under the thread of 'Our world, our dignity, our future'.

On 4 June, the EUEI PDF will organise a side event titled “Financing of Innovative Sustainable Energy Solutions” where ARE members RVE.SOL and Schneider Electric will showcase their mini-grid project development expertise and innovative financing instruments. The aim of the side event is to bring together experts to discuss issues related to sustainable energy investments’ mobilisation, such as innovative business models, forms and volumes of financing required, and gaps in the landscape of support instruments. The session will focus on innovative energy market systems and discuss topics related to small and meso-scale on-grid renewables, as well as mini-grids and standalone systems for rural electrification.

Schneider Electric and RVE.SOL will also be present at the ARE stand during the European Development Days, and we hope to see you there.
