The Alliance for Rural Electrification, supported by GET.invest and in partnership with the Directorate-General for International Partnerships of the European Commission and EDFI ElectriFI, are organising a virtual COP26 session on "Financing sustainable energy access: Building resilient and net-zero local economies" at 14.00 CET on 9 November 2021.

The session will highlight the impact of EU financial mechanisms for private companies to accelerate rural electrification efforts, with testimonials from the ground.

On the same occasion, ARE is also organising an exclusive, invite-only evening reception on 9 November at 18:30 CET in Brussels to welcome representatives from the ARE Membership, European Commission, as well as key partners to network, exchange and do business.
