ARE BUSINESS MATCHMAKING EVENT

If you're interested in knowing more about existing funds around the world that support energy access projects, you are invited to register to the ARE Business Matchmaking Event.

Event background

A half-day event to put rural electrification organisations and professionals (project developers and designers, service providers, consultants, etc) and financiers in contact.

Session 1 will focus on the funding opportunities available to the private sector working in decentralised renewables in rural areas of developing countries. Session 2 will give companies an opportunity to present a "power pitch" (maximum 5 minutes each) on who they are, their project and what they are looking for.

We welcome posters (A2 format) about your organisation, project or idea. If you want to exhibit, please include the request in your registration email.

We will be sending out a Special Edition of our newsletter focusing on the Matchmaking Event a few days after the event. It will include more information about funding opportunities, give tips, etc. It will go to our full mailing list. We encourage organisations looking for funding to support this newsletter.
