Wala works with farmers. We focus on solar-powered technologies for irrigation and agricultural processing.

We provide farmers with a holistic support solution i.e. we (i) sell solar technology for agriculture on a Pay-as-you-Grow (irrigation) & Pay-as-you-Go (processing) basis; (ii) connect the farmers to our local financing partner to save & access soft loans for the Wala technology and farm inputs; (iii) engage off-takers & where feasible, facilitate contract farming for the farmers to ensure access to markets; and (iv) increase their chance of success by training the farmers in how to use & maintain solar tech, good agriculture practice & how to do farming as a business.
