Solarworx was incepted in December 2017. Our team consists of off-grid experts with over a decade of experience in rural electrification in sub-Saharan markets. Our goal is to bring value to Africa by providing quality products to local distribution companies, government entities and NGOs. In the long run, we even plan to manufacture and co-develop our products in Africa. All our products are designed around the concept of interoperability, scalability and modularity. Products grow over time in PV and battery capacity as the end-customer climbs the energy ladder. We like to say our products grow like lego bricks and allow a bottom-up electrification from households, SMEs to entire villages. Our devices are smart, they talk in local language, they send data for remote maintenance and analytics, they talk to each other, they can be interconnected to each other and ultimately are an enabling tool for productivity in rural and peri-urban settlements.
