Turbulent brings clean and affordable electricity to remote locations by pioneering in low-headed hydropower. Our turbines are compact and easy to install, whatever the circumstances on the ground. We are building a global distributor network while we centralize our operational and R&D activities in Leuven. In order to prepare for rapid growth in turbine installations, we want to expand our team with a electrical engineer. You will end up in a young and dynamic business environment where your proactive and hands-on approach will be challenged to have a major impact on the company and our technical solution.

Responsibilities and Tasks
You will work with the sales marketing team and operations to complete the entire external to take care of Turbulent's communication. The main goal is to create leads and to be recorded with rapid growth experiments from different channels and to qualify to a sufficient level towards the sales team.

Background
You have relevant marketing experience in a B2B industrial environment where you can make an impact. You are a natural growth hacker and have practical knowledge of the necessary programmes to integrate efficiently and to work with, or a huge hunger to quickly to learn. Able to understand the stakeholders, their 'real' interests that they don't tell you and creative in writing and finding solutions to reach potential customers.

  • You think in systems. Your systematic approach allows you to take the places in our marketing where you can make the biggest difference.
  • Lead nurturing: you know how to train the market. This way you can different customer trips for our sales team to get qualified leads to participate in talk.
  • You are familiar with tools for rapid experimentation and marketing automation. (Autopilot, Zoho Marketing Hub...)
  • You have a hands-on practical mentality, fast and digital savantYou are result-oriented & cost-conscious.
  • You can identify segments and create personalized customer journeys by integrate different marketing tools.
  • Flexible (can deal with changing priorities) and self-reliant (can deal with less structure)
  • You understand that growth is a team effort and can work well with various profiles
  • Customer and international oriented
  • No marketing BS / Lingo but actions (1% inspiration, 99% perspiration)
  • Man of everything in marketing, but with the ability to outsource when things aren't within your reach.
  • Good IQ / EQ / PQ with energy! You see solutions where others see problems.
  • You can handle short deadlines with your planning skills and personality.
  • You can work with different CMS

Languages
Full English proficiency (Native is a plus)
Dutch / French / Spanish on a professional level are a plus

Experience
3+ years of proven experience in marketing in industrial B2B context. Proven knowledge of strategic marketing.

Educational background
Master's degree
