Job description

To deliver best projects opportunities and maximise the value of business partner’s investments around the world, Trina Solar is looking for highly qualified, well experienced, hard-working and passionate professional to develop strategic solutions such as:

 

  • Business Development & oriented Financing
  • Full Service EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning)
  • Solid O&M Capability

 

Join us as a Photovoltaic Project Developer and be part of an exciting, challenging and dynamic work environment to proactively support the definition and implementation of the expansion strategy of the Project Business Unit through the origination, development and expansion of the PV Project opportunities, also including the establishment of global partnership, contacts and networking with developers, equity partners, off-takers and final consumers in the Region.

 

Main responsibilities

  • Support in project permitting activities for PV greenfield and brownfield projects
  • Support in the acquisition and development of PV projects
  • Follow-up of the different phases of project development
  • Review and track all incoming permit documents, assure adequacy, and perform follow-up as needed
  • Interact with different authorities and utilities
  • Negotiate and collaborate with legal department in the closing of land agreements
  • Identify all permit activities necessary for projects to reach ‘ready to build’ status.
  • Identify, secure bids from, and manage work activities of environmental and permitting consultants.

Job Requirements

  • Engineering Degree will be considered a plus
  • 3 years of permitting in renewable energy projects experience
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time
  • English skills will be considered a plus
