GRID Alternatives (GRID) is seeking a fundraising consultant with extensive experience with the international fundraising landscape to identify sources of foundation, government, corporate, faith-based and sister communities, membership clubs, multilateral and other funding sources whose funding objectives align with our mission and the work of our International Program.
The Scope of work:
Researching the philanthropic landscape to identify and qualify prospects for our international work in Mexico, Nepal, Nicaragua
Submitting letters of interest and proposals to funding sources GRID has already identified and new sources the consultant discovers
Time frame: 10-20 hours a week for 6 months.
The deliverables for the 6-month consultancy include:
A body of research with specific prospects including contact information that have been identified and qualified
A written report recommending GRID’s best approach to fundraising from foundation, government, corporate, multilateral, faith-based and sister communities, membership clubs, and other funding sources for our work in Mexico, Nicaragua and Nepal. The report should include recommended strategies for how to best position ourselves to find and quality for funds
